An urban mission designed to create a disciple-making movement
Remix is a week-long interactive and hands-on urban mission experience designed to equip, train and inspire young leaders to 'center their lives within the mission and message of Jesus'. Each Remix participant will receive in-depth training each day, be engaged in afternoon mission opportunities throughout Toronto and be a part of large group celebration gatherings each evening.
THEME FOR DAY 01: Encountering God's Love Training Focus God has poured out his love on us, giving us a new heart of love for him and others.
THEME FOR DAY 02: Meeting people through Jesus' eyes Training Focus Jesus gives us a new perspective to see and serve people through eyes of compassion. Afternoon Experience Show God's love by serving in the community. Focus on meeting visible needs.
THEME FOR DAY 03: Care through listening and learning Training Focus When we realize God's love for us, it becomes our motive to actively care and listen to others. Afternoon Experience Initiate conversations with new people to listen and learn about their lives. Focus on meeting emotional needs.
THEME FOR DAY 04: Connect with God's community Training Focus Jesus becomes real to us in a community that lives and loves like him. Afternoon Experience Creatively encourage and build–up people in your ministry. Focus on meeting relational needs.
THEME FOR DAY 05: Share God's truth Training Focus God has given us an amazing and true story which expresses his love for us. Afternoon Experience Write and send letters to friends and family who need Jesus to transform their lives. Focus on meeting spiritual needs.
THEME FOR DAY 06: Follow Jesus' Mission Training Focus Jesus calls us to live his mission in our everyday life. Afternoon Experience Spend time praying, journaling and sharing with your youth group about how God is changing and challenging you. Focus on meeting visible, emotional, relational and spiritual needs.
